Veep is an American HBO political comedy television series, starring Julia Louis-Dreyfus. It is a fictional story of Vice-President Selina Meyer who struggles in her role as Vice-President, and desperately clamors for the Presidency, a role she does attain, for at least a brief period. The series was created by Armando Iannucci; however Armando left the show and the new showrunner became former Seinfeld writer and Curb Your Enthusiasm producer David Mandel.
